We elect (“hire” should be the term) someone to represent our interests in Washington. To make sure that what “WE” want is heard when it comes to making laws or having a war or taxing us. Then our representative (we’ll call him Cantor) hires a staff of people (all paid by US). His staff then sets out to advance our representative’s career.
It gets better, then once the staff member has done his job, they move on to another part of the government or in this case a PAC (the part of the government that really elects our reps) and so on and so on and so on. Nothing gets done, no products are produced yet all of these people make more money then we do and live much better and secure lives then any of US?????
EXAMPLE: Dayspring helped Cantor rise in the Republican ranks by using aggressive tactics and embracing both new and old media. The New York Times labeled Dayspring “Cantor’s Rasputin of retort” thanks to his quick Twitter responses to Obama’s speeches.
Before working for Cantor, Dayspring worked for then-House Budget Chairman John Kasich (R-Ohio) and held a position in the White House during George W. Bush’s presidency.
UPDATE: According to National Journal, Dayspring will leave to join a super PAC aimed at raising and spending money for House Republican candidates
